Tom and Jana wanted to have their engagement photos taken in the neighborhood where they live. They proceeded to tell me it was Charlestown, MA.

I was like YASSSSS!!!!!!! A perfect location!

We had everything planned: The when, the where, the what, and it was all set. The New England weather decided to make herself known. The heat index soared, and the humidity went through the roof!  

However, Tom & Jana weren’t going to let that stop them. Instead, they used it to their advantage.

The general population hunkered down in air-conditioned comfort. We took advantage of this and used the opportunity to take engagement photos in usually crowded areas. It was almost as if we had the city to ourselves!

We went to some of this newly engaged couple’s favorite spots around this historic city, and you can see the love between these two plain as day; we had a great time.

One of the many great things about living in the Boston area is to enjoy its powerful history daily. The Freedom Trail runs through Charlestown, and Tom & Jana incorporated it into their engagement photos to make them even more special.
