When you first get engaged, immediately you get BOMBARDED with questions … when will it be? Where is it happening? Then…. there is also my (not so) favorite……….. when are you planning to have a baby?

Then the stress kicks in and you just want to scream! It’s times like these when people forget that it’s NOT their wedding! So it’s a good time to schedule a little time for yourselves to enjoy all the moments. A mini engagement photo session might just be what you need!

Wedding planning is overwhelming at times, so the thought of an engagement shoot can make you nervous. But, it’s a season of your life that you’ll never experience the same again, and that’s something worth documenting!

For those of you who may be more shy in front of the camera than others, a mini session may be a little more up your alley than a full engagement session!

A Mini Photo Session with me is usually about 25 minutes long, and you receive a minimum of 25 pictures from our time together! My full engagement sessions are usually an hour long, at a location of your choice. But sometimes people may not want (or even need) that much time! So it’s great to jump on the opportunity whenever it arises!

In the case of this couple, Dana contacted me a few weeks before my fall minis because she thought a mini session would be the PERFECT opportunity to get some great save the date photos! And she loved the location of the Arnold Arboretum which is where I had them planned for!

We shot within the Arboretum’s Leventritte Garden where the autumn leaves were absolutely bursting with color, and it was the perfect backdrop to show the beauty of autumn in New England.

November 2021 I will again be doing a day of mini photo sessions, so stay tuned to learn about that opportunity!
